The Role

On joining you will begin your career as a researcher, which will provide you with an excellent platform to launch a long-term career in recruitment. Initially, you will support a team of high performing consultants where you will focus on generating high calibre professionals looking for a new role. Nearly all our researchers progress to become consultants, where they will manage their own portfolio of clients, attend customer meetings and reviews, interview candidates and liaise with clients and jobseekers on an ongoing basis to fulfil their recruitment requirements.

As a researcher, you will be provided with a transparent and clearly defined career development plan, which will ensure you are best positioned to develop your career and capitalise on opportunities that arise within the business. You’ll be able to meet with our previous graduates who have moved into consulting roles and now have their own client portfolio, earning the bonuses that accompany success. They will provide a unique perspective and support framework for new joiners. It’s a fact that many of our most successful managers and directors started their careers as researchers.

First Class Training

We offer a global 12 week training programme called ‘Reach’ which consists of 10 key components. We recognise everyone has different learning styles and offer a structured programme consisting of classroom training, live calling sessions, on-line which utilises our e-learning platform MM¹Training, 1-2-1 and on the desk training. You will have the opportunity to work alongside other researchers who are new to the business, allowing you to learn from your peers and develop strong working relationships.

All training is delivered by industry experts within the business, some of who started off as researchers themselves! ‘Pre-course’ is part of our structure which allows you to get a head start before you attend a classroom session and ‘post-course work’ offers you the opportunity to give feedback and commit to key action points to ensure full understanding.
